The U.S. Ambassador noted that the text “never refers to” the Palestinian movement Hamas, which, according to her statement, “bears the main responsibility for the latest violence in Gaza”, and all the requirements are addressed to Israel. As stated by Nikki Haley, “those who will vote for this resolution will demonstrate their inability to participate in any negotiations between the two parties.”
