TASS, March 19. Anna vyakhireva and the captain of Russian national team on handball Anna Kochetova will not participate in the match of the qualifying tournament of the European championship of 2018 vs team Romania because of injuries. About it reports a press – service of Federation of handball of Russia.

30-year-old Kochetova received damage to the knee ligament during a training session in the “Astrahanochka”, 23-year-old Vyahireva from “Rostov-don” having problems with his ankle after the Champions League match against Romanian “Bucharest”.

Also meeting because of a broken finger will miss a line “Rostov-don” Maya Petrova. The head coach of the Russian team Evgeny Trefilov said that the participation in the match Snopova Irina from Tolyatti “Frets” .

The match of the 3rd round qualifying tournament between the national teams of Russia and Romania will be held on March 21 in Togliatti, then the teams will meet again between March 25 in the Romanian city of Cluj-Napoca. After two rounds the national team of Romania is headed by the fourth group with four points. The Russian handballers take the second place with two points. The third place team Austria (2), the fourth – Portugal (0).
