MOSCOW, may 19. /TASS/. Chinese chess player HOU Yifan beat Norway’s Jon Ludvig hammer in the party the seventh round of the Grand Prix, held in Moscow.
Anish Giri (Netherlands) beat Saleh Salem (UAE).
The other parties of the seventh round ended in a draw: Hikaru Nakamura (USA) – Ding Liren (China), Shakhriyar Mamedyarov (Azerbaijan) and Alexander Grischuk (Russia), Maxim Vachier-Lagrave (France) – Teimour Radjabov (Azerbaijan), Peter Svidler (Russia) – Boris Gelfand (Israel), Pentala Harikrishna (India) – Evgeny Tomashevsky (Russia), Francisco Vallejo (Spain) – Michael Adams (great Britain), Ernesto Inarkiev (Russia), Ian Nepomniachtchi (Russia).
After seven rounds, the leaders are Ding Liren and Mamedyarov, who scored 4.5 points.
The Grand Prix consists of four stages. As cities of the competition was chosen Sharjah (UAE), Moscow, Geneva (Switzerland) and Palma de Mallorca (Spain ). Grandmasters, who will take first and second places, next year will play in the candidates tournament.
The Moscow stage will end on may 21.
