During Saturday’s rallies in Minsk were detained “hundreds of people”.

This was stated by Belarusian human rights centre “Viasna” reports “Russian conversation”.

It is noted that the Belarusian police are not talking about the total number of detainees, however, the interior Ministry confirmed the fact of detention of participants of protest actions.

According to information centre “the Spring” walking “day of freedom” in Minsk was arrested a hundred people. The centre also collects preliminary lists of those who were taken away by the police. Now the defenders counted about three hundred of the detained citizens.

It is said that a number of detainees released from the police station without protocols. On some open cases on administrative violations .

There is also information that in the Moscow district police Department in Minsk there are about 150-200 people in a Factory Department – about 200 people.

Earlier it was reported that on Saturday in Minsk was pulled thousands of soldiers and policemen.

It was also noted that Minsk occurred violent clashes between demonstrators and Riot police.
