MOSCOW, March 31. /TASS/. International canoe Federation (ICF) provided additional criteria for admission to international tournaments for the Russian athletes. Requirements published on the website of all-Russia Federation of rowing on kayaks and canoes (UFGBK).

In accordance with the requirements of the international Federation, to participate in competitions each athlete should be tested for doping at least twice, starting from 1 January 2017, with an interval between tests of not less than 14 days. In addition, the analysis of doping tests must be conducted by laboratories accredited by the world anti-doping Agency (WADA), located in the territory of the Russian Federation.

On Friday, the ICF withdrew the suspension of the competition with nine Russian athletes, as they did not find sufficient evidence of violations of anti-doping rules . Among the disqualified were canoeist Alex, Debbie, kayakers Alexander Dyachenko, Natalia Podolskaya, the names of six athletes was not reported.
