Members of anti-government and anti-Russian demonstration in Tbilisi on the evening of June 20, broke into the courtyard of the Parliament, they demanded the resignation of the speaker , Irakli Kobakhidze, the Minister for internal Affairs and head of the security Service. The reason for the beginning of the demonstrations in the Georgian capital was the scandal at the session of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Orthodoxy on June 20. The opposition disrupted the proceedings of the Assembly.

The Russian delegation left Tbilisi.
