In Kharkov, in the test mode started working the project “Zupinka” (https://smartarea.info), which allows you to see where the tram or trolley bus route needs and how long he’ll be at a particular stop.
As the press service of the Kharkiv city Council with reference to the project Manager KU “Office reforms Kharkov” Igor Tunakova, the project uses data from GPS-sensors that were previously installed in the movable part of the ground gorelektrotransport to follow the movement of transport and to manage.
“On the map caused stop data: when the transport arrives, what is the number of rolling stock on the route”, – quotes Tunakova press service.
According to him, in a short time on the site you will see information about changes to public transport routes. If the resident of Kharkov will choose a particular route tram or trolleybus, he will receive notification about their movement in case of overlapping sections.
Besides, in plans of developers – to create a function that will allow you to plot a route to a user by entering information about how and where he wants to reach, could obtain full information about what kind of transport it is better to do what transfers and how much it will cost.
According to Dunyakovo already ten stops of public transport with the biggest traffic (in particular in the Sergiyevskaya square, Gosprom, near the metro station “University”) installed QR codes to go to the site. In the future we plan to hang QR codes on all stops of public transport.
