In Kiev and Odessa the security Service of Ukraine on Monday conducted searches in the offices of “Yandex. Ukraine”. This was announced by the speaker of the SBU Elena Gitlyanskaya on his page in Facebook.

“Really, the SBU conducts searches in the offices of a subsidiary of the Russian company “Yandex” in Kiev and Odessa,” wrote Gitlyanskaya.

Also in the SBU said that investigations are in the framework of criminal proceedings opened under article 111 of the Criminal code of Ukraine (high treason).

“In our offices in Kiev and Odessa are now the representatives of the security Service of Ukraine. Information on the causes of the current activities of the SBU are not yet available. Our offices have already left the lawyers,” – said the press service of “Yandex”, transfer “Ukrainian news”.

The company noted that the legal procedures are willing to provide law enforcement all necessary information .
