Participant OPG was secretly added to the victims drink “Isolator”.

In Odessa arrested the participant of the criminal group to commit robbery with the use of psychotropic substances “Isolator”, which killed two people.

As reported today by the press service of the Prosecutor of the Odessa region, on March 16 at the request of the Prosecutor’s office of the Seaside district court of Odessa the suspect elected a measure of restraint in form of detention.

“Police March 14 arrested a member of a criminal group, whose members during 2016 committed robbery in the territory of Odessa, Odessa and Kherson areas”, – stated in the message.

It is established that participants of criminal group was secretly added to the victims drink “Isolator”. Then, taking advantage of their helpless state, took possession of the property .

“The use of such potent drugs, in particular, overdose and combination with alcohol, caused the death of two citizens”, – reported in Prosecutor’s office.

As explained in the press service, in February, the Prosecutor of the region sent to the court indictment against four persons, the victims of which were citizens of Ukraine and foreigners. The above-mentioned citizen was wanted, she was informed about the suspicion.

Odessa oblast Prosecutor’s office performs procedural management in criminal proceedings according to clauses 6, 12 of part 2 of article 115, 4 187 of UK of Ukraine (deliberate murder from mercenary motives; the robbery made on preliminary arrangement by group of persons).

As reported, in early September of 2016, the Directorate of National police in the Odessa region, said that in Odessa detained several people on suspicion of robbery of the citizens who were drugged with psychotropic substance “Isolator”.

The attackers were mixed into spirits of his victims, a medical facility, and when they lost consciousness – robbed them. It was noted that on account of criminals, the number of robberies, the result was fatal cases, including a foreigner.
