Duda noted that in Poland to participate in the exercise will arrive many American soldiers. He asked the poles to be friendly with them and be sensitive to potential problems with the movement of columns of military vehicles on the road.

The Minister of national defence of Poland Mariusz Blashak stressed that these exercises are extremely important for the security of the country.

“Exercises like these demonstrate the capacity for action of the allied troops. Possible aggressor needs to take into account that in the case of aggression, it will face a resolute response of Poland and NATO, ” said Blashek.

In the teachings of the Defender of Europe-20 will be attended by about 37 thousand soldiers from 18 countries. In the coming weeks in Poland and other countries will arrive in 20 thousand troops from the United States, joined by 9 thousand Americans that are stationed in Europe. In addition, the exercise will be attended by 8 thousand soldiers from other NATO countries, mainly from the UK to Germany.

Poland for exercises will provide 2 thousand soldiers, heavy machinery, aviation, as well as police, border guards and firefighters. Most American heavy equipment will arrive by rail.

During his stay on the European continent, American troops will participate in several smaller exercises throughout Europe. In particular, we are talking about a multinational exercise Swift Response-20 Saber Strike-20, Allied Spirit-20 and Dynamic Front-20.
