EKATERINBURG, March 1. /TASS/. Calculations of missile complexes “Pantsir-S1” and s-300PM, stationed in Siberia, raised the alarm under the launched large-scale exercises of the air defense forces and aviation of the Central military district. This was announced by assistant commander of the district Colonel Yaroslav Roshchupkin, noting that the maneuvers involved more than 2.5 thousand soldiers and about 200 units of equipment, including upgraded fighter – interceptor MiG-31BM and the su-24M.
“Settlements systems “Pantsir-S1″ and s-300PM raised the alarm in Siberia started on a two-way doctrine of defense and aviation of the Central military district. The gunners marched in the designated area, where he began to develop objectives for the protection of military objects against a massive missile and bomb attack imaginary enemy, which are the regiments of the su-25 and MiG-31, stationed in Perm Krai and Chelyabinsk region,” said Roshchupkin .
“The training will last until the end of March and will end with a live fire on the range in the Astrakhan region”, – he said.
