KYIV, may 23. /TASS/. The joint team of prosecutors and police investigators have identified two more active participants of the riots on may 2, 2014 in Odessa on the Grecheskaya square. Reports a press about it-service of Prosecutor’s office of Odessa region.

“Militiamen held portrait examination, examined videos from surveillance cameras and found two more active participants of the may riots: 37-the summer inhabitant of Odessa and 58-the summer inhabitant of the Black sea in Odessa region”, – stated in the message.

According to information, the Prosecutor’s office of Odessa region have already agreed on a message to open a criminal case against these people. “After their official presentation of the Prosecutor’s office will appeal to court with the petition for arrest, remand, and declared wanted,” – said the Prosecutor’s office.

The press service said that from the beginning of 2017 in the case were questioned as witnesses more than 70 people, was held nine additional inspections of areas where there were mass riots to identify additional evidence.

In Odessa on 2 may 2014, the radical “Right sector” (organization banned in Russia) and the so-called self-defense Maidan burned the tent city on the Kulikovo field, where the residents of Odessa collected signatures for a referendum on the federalization of Ukraine and making Russian a state language. Supporters of federalization took refuge in the House of trade unions, but radicals surrounded the building and set it on fire. In those tragic events has killed 48 people, more than 240 were injured. The authorities acknowledged the instigators of the riots, 22 people, arrested solely of supporters of the “Maidan”.
