YEKATERINBURG, March 10. /TASS/. Photography and glass bottle fragment found during the restoration of the house of the Governor General in Tobolsk (Tyumen oblast), which will house the Museum of the Romanov Royal family, will join the collection companies. This was reported TASS the head of the Museum Victoria Ismagilova.
“Items will be included in the Museum Fund. Specialists will do a full scientific description, then they will be exhibited in the halls of the new facility. To date, we cannot say that the subjects are somehow associated with the Royal family, it can be determined only by research,” she said.
In the words of Ismagilovo that there are two items – a photograph and a fragment of the bottle. “The was discovered in the room of the third floor under the floorboards, on the reverse side is the inscription made by old ink. A fragment of the bottle was in a furnace on the second floor, the glass melted, so the labels don’t read”, she said.
Earlier it was reported that the opening of the Museum scheduled for August of this year. On the first floor will be devoted to Siberia and the Romanovs: visitors will see an exhibition devoted to that period of history when the building was a travelling Palace. The second floor will devote directly to make the last of the Royal family and their satellites in Tobolsk. Builders and employees of the Tobolsk historical and architectural Museum-reserve (TEAMS) are in the house of the Governor – General restoration work.
The Royal family was in exile in Tobolsk from August 1917 to April 1918. After that they were moved to Ekaterinburg where they were shot on the night of 17 July 1918 in the Ipatiev house engineer.
TEAMS founded in 1961, it is located in the area of 18 hectares, it comprises 62 memorial object. The funds store more than 400 thousand exhibits. The most valuable of them are collections of Ethnography, archeology, paleontology, manuscripts and early printed books, Handicrafts, photo collection, collection of objects that belonged to the Romanov Royal family.
