In Kiev, the underground 203 and the anniversary of the birth of Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko will bring the passengers free of charge in exchange for the recitation of lines of poems by Shevchenko. This is stated in the message on the page of the Kyiv metro on Facebook.

Action #HappyShevchenkoHours will be at the three metro station: “Tarasa Shevchenko”, “Independence square” and “Kontraktovaya square” at a certain time.

In particular, the “contract” to read the poetry of Shevchenko to the controller is possible from 13:20 till 14.00, in “Maidan” – from 14:20 till 15: 00, at the “Taras Shevchenko” from 12:00 to 13:00.
