In the mountains of Georgia lost two Ukrainian tourists. They were found near the summit of Layla in the region of Upper Svaneti, but because of weather conditions the Ukrainians can not get rescuers, Interfax reported.
According to the emergency management of Georgia, a group of eight tourists from Ukraine was at the height of 4,200 meters above sea level near the summit of Layla when behind two members. The search continued for two days, Thursday with a helicopter they were able to detect.
The service noted that due to the poor weather conditions and difficult terrain, the rescuers still could not reach the tourists.
“As soon as weather conditions will allow the helicopter to approach, tourists will choose. While we have no information about the state of their health,” – said in the service.
