A ship of the Royal Navy HMS Echo (H87) on Monday docked at one of the berths of passenger terminal of Odessa port. His visit will last until may 9, the press-service of administration of Odessa sea port with reference to the Administration of seaports of Ukraine (ASPU).

“Stay HMS Echo in the port of Odessa is scheduled until may 9”, – stated in the message.

HMS Echo is a hydrographic ship, designed for exploration and survey work to ensure the action of submarines, and amphibious operations. In addition, can act as a platform for mine countermeasure operations.

In December 2018, the ship has visited the port of Odessa in the framework of the NATO mission to ensure freedom of navigation in the Black sea.
