TOKYO, June 4. /Offset. TASS Alex Sarachev/. Festival “Russian seasons”, in which during the year will be more than 200 different events, opened in the Japanese capital. The ceremony on this occasion is held in one of the main halls of the “Tokyo Bunka Kaikan”.

Red-white ribbon in the lobby of the hall, symbolizing the beginning of a multi-day cultural programs, was cut by the state Secretary, Deputy Minister of culture of the Russian Federation Alexander Zhuravsky, Director General of Bolshoi theatre Vladimir urin, as well as the Deputy Minister of education, culture, sports, science and technology of Japan Ryouhei Miyata .

According to Zhuravsky, the audience on Sunday will be an opportunity to see the ballet “Giselle” which gives you the world-famous ballet troupe of the Bolshoi theatre. “Today we will witness the opening of the “Russian seasons”. This large-scale project, in which Russian artists during the year will please the Japanese public,” he said.

“Russian seasons” will present in Japan for more than 20 eminent Russian institutions of culture, including the Bolshoi, Mariinsky, Hermitage Museum, the Maly drama theatre, seaside Mariinsky theatre Symphony orchestra of the Moscow Philharmonic, the Moscow Nikulin circus, drama Theatre named after A. S. Pushkin Academy of Russian ballet named A. Y. Vaganova, Bolshoi Symphony orchestra named after P. I. Tchaikovsky, Symphony chapel of Russia, all-Russian state Institute of cinematography named after S. A. Gerasimov (VGIK), the Museum of musical named after M. I. Glinka, the State Cossack song and dance ensemble “Stavropol”.
