Famous Ukrainian writer and poet, and a former member of Parliament Borys Oliynyk, died 30 April on 82-m to year of life.

“On Sunday at 11.45 (same as GMT) on 82-m to year of life after heavy and long illness died legendary Ukrainian poet Boris Oleynik,” – said the journalist.
In 2005 Oleinik was awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine. He is the author of more than forty books and collections of poetry, published in Ukraine and abroad.
The works of Oleinik have been translated into dozens of languages, including on Russian. A number of poems turned into songs, the most famous of which are “Song of mother” and “Mom sowed the sleep.”
Earlier it was reported that in Israel, died a famous poet and a Soviet tanker ACE ion Degen.
It was also noted that in St. Petersburg, died a famous journalist Nikolai Andrushchenko .
