In the Ukraine back four sailors from sunken in the summer of 2019 off the coast of Mauritania vessel “Ivan golubets”, said state Secretary of the MFA Andrei Zayats on his Twitter page.

“Good morning, news: tonight from Mauritania returned home four Ukrainian sailor of the ship “Ivan golubets”, for which there were applied restrictive measures”, – he wrote.

He also thanked the Minister of foreign Affairs of Mauritania Ismail Ould Sheikh Ahmed.

As reported, 19 July 2019, due to a technical malfunction in the engine room of WATM “Ivan golubets”, owned by SE “Service”, there was a fire. In connection with an emergency the captain of the ship, it was decided to evacuate crew on Board another fishing vessel nearby. Later during towing of the vessel to the port of Nouadhibou (Mauritania), VATM “Ivan golubets” sank to its damage by fire. The crew consisted of 29 citizens of Ukraine, one of them was missing.
