YEKATERINBURG, July 8. /TASS/. Show program “Digital manufacturing” and concert of the Korean group Noreum Machi opened 9-th International industrial exhibition INNOPROM in Yekaterinburg. The band ended with the song “Katyusha”, the correspondent of TASS.

“INNOPROM-2018 dedicated to digital production. The choice was based, first and foremost, the task of digitalization of the economy, posed by the President of Russia Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin. Digital manufacturing, smart machines, robotics, drone technology and electric transport technologies for cities – this is not a complete list of topics to be discussed at Innoprom . At the same time, I am sure that digital technology is not only the speed, efficiency, high performance and equal opportunities for all, breaking down barriers, a departure from the outdated standards, new quality of life,” he said, opening the exhibition, the Governor of Sverdlovsk region Evgeny Kuyvashev.

He added that the EXHIBITION will also boost the structure of trade with the Republic of Korea, which this year is partner of the exhibition, and increasing the share of high-tech products.

Opening of the exhibition held in the cinema theater “Cosmos”. At the beginning of the ceremony, the audience saw the show Title, in which was filled with digitized music, from classic to contemporary. Guests also enjoyed the light show for techno, drums and violin.

International industrial exhibition INNOPROM held in Yekaterinburg annually since 2010. In 2012, the Russian government has assigned Federal status. This year the exhibition runs from July 9 to July 12, its theme was “Digital manufacturing”. Partner of the INNOPROM-2018 became the Republic of Korea, the organizer of the exhibition – the Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation.
