Consumer prices in France, harmonized with the standards of the European Union, in October 2017 rose 1.1% yoy, the fastest rate since April, according to final data from the National statistical office Insee.
The value of the index coincided with the preliminary estimates and economists ‘ expectations.
Compared to August prices decreased by 0.2%, not 0.1% as previously reported. Analysts do not expect revision of this indicator.
Consumer prices, calculated according to French standards, in September grew by 1% yoy and fell 0.2% compared to the previous month.
The cost of food in France in September rose by 1.1% yoy and dropped 0.1% compared to the previous month. Services rose by 1.1% compared to September 2016, energy – 5.1% .
