“We decided to hold a rally-Requiem for the dead in Odessa House of trade unions in Yekaterinburg, as the city was a lot of concerned citizens to the tragedy that occurred three years ago. In the morning we found the memorial from 10 cubic meters with 40 portraits of the victims of Odessa. Of course, this is not all the people who died,” said the organizer is a resident of Yekaterinburg Ekaterina Saprykina.

At 19:00 local time (17:00) GMT we will launch in the Ural sky white balloons – a symbol of innocent ruined souls in the Odessa House of trade unions”, – said Saprykin.
In Odessa on 2 may 2014, the radical “Right sector” (recognized in Russia extremist organization) and the so-called “self-Maidan” burned the tent city on the Kulikovo field, where the residents of Odessa collected signatures for a referendum on the federalization of Ukraine and granting Russian language a state status. Supporters of federalization took refuge in the House of trade unions, but radicals surrounded the building and set it on fire. Then 48 people were killed and over 200 were injured.
Authorities conducted an investigation into these events and recognized the instigators of the clashes and unrest 22. Half of them were arrested, all of whom were exclusively supporters of “Maidan”. Among them were Russians Evgeny and Maxim Nefedov Sakauov.
