MOSCOW, July 8. /TASS/. A doping sample “A” athlete of Jamaican Jason Livermore gave a positive result for a prohibited substance. This was reported by Reuters, the Chairman anti-doping Committee Jamaica (JADCO) Kent Gammon.

The sample was put during the extra competitive period on December 16. The name of the prohibited substance is not reported. Athlete faces four-year ban. Hearings on the case of Livermore will take place on September 11.

According to the Agency, the 29-year-old Sprinter had not requested an autopsy sample “B”.

Livermore won gold in the 4x100m at the Commonwealth Games – the 2014 team Jamaica with Usain Bolt, Komarom Bailey-Cole and Nickel Almidon.

Previously, Livermore has not been included in the national team to participate in the world championship in athletics in London, which will be held from 4 to 13 August .
