From the beginning of 2017 with the Armed forces of Ukraine were more than 26 thousand contracts, and the list of priorities included the provision of contract of the personnel of the arsenals, said the chief of staff, Deputy chief of the General staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Artur Artemenko.

“From the beginning, the Armed forces has signed more than 26 thousand contracts,” – said A. Artemenko at a briefing in Kyiv on Tuesday, adding that the contracts signed with 1.8 thousand officers.

According to him, the priority is the need for posts in the airborne troops of the armed forces and positions in the crews of combat vehicles. At the same time, in view of the recent extraordinary events in the arsenals, the priority is the provision of personnel of military units artillery depots .

As reported, on September 19 the Minister of defence of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak signed a decree №484 from “exemption to the reserve of soldiers of urgent military service in October-December 2017”. On 20 September the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the number of Ukrainian citizens subject to conscription for military service in October-November 2017, in the amount of 10 thousand 460 people and has allocated for these purposes UAH 34.4 million.
