ASTANA, may 26. /TASS/. Kazakhstan has signed agreements and contracts worth more than 300 billion tenge ($916 million) to the international exhibition of arms and military technical property KADEX-2018, which was held from 23 to 26 may in Astana. This was reported on Saturday the press service of the Ministry of defense and the aerospace industry.

“Just at the end of the exhibition, signed around 100 memorandums, contracts, agreements and protocols worth more than 300 billion tenge which are directed on development and strengthening military-technical cooperation, military-industrial complex of the country in the field of space activities and cyber security,” the statement reads.
KADEX-2018 was presented arms and military equipment, products of military and dual-purpose the world’s leading manufacturers, samples of space technics and technologies development in the sphere of information security . The exhibition was attended by 48 official delegations from Russia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, UAE, Turkey, Jordan, Egypt, Israel, Italy, Mongolia and other countries, 108 heads of leading foreign companies of the military-industrial complex, in sphere of space activities and cyber security, the Ministry said.
Noted that as exhibitors of their products KADEX-2018 presented 318 companies from 28 countries.
