The Kharkov oblast, regional state administration which is headed by Yulia Svetlichnaya, was the first among regions of Ukraine in the rating of socio-economic development in 2018, according to the Cabinet, according to published on the website of the Ministry of regional development the results of the monitoring.

“The Ministry of regional development, construction and housing of Ukraine calculated the overall rating of the regions for 62 indicators, grouped into 12 areas. The evaluation Kharkiv confirmed its first place in “Accessibility and quality of services in the field of education”, and took second place in the directions: “Development of small and medium enterprises”, “Renewable energy and energy efficiency” and “Social protection and safety”, – noted in the Kharkiv regional state administration.

In second place in the ranking of the regions of Rivne oblast, the third – Vinnitsa. Close the five of the first Dnipropetrovsk and Chernivtsi region.

The lowest place is taken by the Luhansk regional state administration. For it – Donetsk, Chernihiv, Odesa and Mykolaiv region.

Kharkiv for three years in a row topped the rating of regions of the Cabinet. The rating assessment of socio-economic development of regions was founded in 2015. On the basis of statistics areas grades are given quarterly for 27 indicators in 6 areas and annually for 64 indicators in 12 areas. This assessment element of the new system of monitoring the implementation of state regional policy and determine the dynamics of changes. The rating indicators – the indicator of effectiveness of management decisions at the Central and local levels.
