The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin am grateful to the House of representatives of the United States Congress for their support of the draft law on cooperation with Ukraine on issues of cyber security and I am confident that this initiative will yield results in the fight against Russian hybrid aggression.

“Law on the strengthening of cooperation between Ukraine and USA in the field of cybersecurity is a new field of battle with the Russian hybrid aggression. Thank you to the congressmen for their support,” wrote the foreign Minister in the microblog in Twitter on Thursday.

P. Klimkin expressed confidence that “in the virtual space, too, we will win.”

As reported, the House of representatives of the U.S. Congress 404 votes supported the draft law on cooperation with Ukraine on issues of cybersecurity. This document is aimed at promoting active cooperation between Ukraine and USA in the field of cybersecurity in the face of opposition of the Russian hybrid aggression; provides assistance to Ukraine in the improvement of cybersecurity strategies, in particular, strengthening the protection of computer networks of public authorities, the reduction of Ukraine’s dependence on Russian information and communication technologies, as well as facilitating Ukraine’s participation in information sharing programs.
