News of Ukraine: Pavlo Klimkin in new York will participate in the briefing of the UN security Council, which discussed the aggression of the Russian Federation and ways of resolving conflict.
The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin on Tuesday and Wednesday is on a working visit in new York, where he will participate in the briefing of the UN security Council, which will discuss the situation arising from the Russian aggression against Ukraine and ways of resolving the conflict.
“The event will be held under the chairmanship of the Minister of foreign Affairs of Poland Jacek Czaputowicz . In the meeting it is expected the participation of Deputy Secretary General for political Affairs rosemary Di Carlo, assistant to the Deputy UN Secretary-General for humanitarian Affairs and Deputy coordinator for emergency relief Ursula müller, head of SMM OSCE in Ukraine Ertugrul Apakan”, – informs on Tuesday a press-service of the MFA of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian foreign Ministry noted that the participation of P. Klimkin at the meeting will be another opportunity to draw the attention of members of the security Council and the international community as a whole to the Russian aggression against Ukraine and violations by Russia of international humanitarian law and human rights.
“During his stay in new York planned a series of meetings the Minister for foreign Affairs of Ukraine P. Klimkin with foreign partners and the UN leadership. The foreign Minister of Ukraine will also take part in the ceremony of laying flowers at the memorial of the victims of the “blue helmets” of the UN”, – stated in the message.
