MOSCOW, 3 Oct. /TASS/. Insignificant backlog from the planned terms is present in 12 sites of the world championship on football of 2018. This was stated by the Minister of sports of Russia Pavel Kolobkov at a joint meeting of the Council under RF President on development of physical culture and sports and the Supervisory Board of the organizing Committee “Russia-2018”, dedicated to the outcome in Russia of the FIFA confederations Cup and the preparations for the world Cup.
“In the 12 sites at various stages of the works are behind target dates. I note that the backlog does not have a significant impact on the timing of completion of construction”, – said in his speech, Balls .

According to the Minister of sports, are under special control of the Moscow aviation hub and airports in Kaliningrad and Saransk.
“Also in the area of our attention is the training area on the island of October [in Kaliningrad], where the stadium is situated. The work is carried out in the framework of the Federal target program for Kaliningrad region development”, – said Balls.
“All these objects taken additional measures and a constant monitoring,” added the sports Minister.
The stadium in Samara will be commissioned in time
Kolobkov reported that it is now under renovation and construction there are seven stadiums, 78 training facilities, 15 hotels, transport object 31, 10 health facilities, three objects of power supply, 10 public utilities.
The sports Minister said that a high degree of readiness of stadiums in Yekaterinburg, Rostov-on – don and Kaliningrad. According to Kolobkov, the degree of completion is reached at arenas in Volgograd, Nizhny Novgorod, Saransk and Samara.
“There is a gap in the individual stages of work at the stadium in Samara – up to six months. Against the contractor penalized. Developed a schedule of elimination of the backlogs and installed daily monitoring of its implementation”, – said the Minister of sport.
“At the moment the situation is under control and the stadium will be commissioned on time,” said Kolobok.
World Cup matches will be held from 14 June to 15 July in Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Kazan, Samara, Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-don, Saransk, Sochi, Kaliningrad, Volgograd and Yekaterinburg.
