The former people’s Deputy of Ukraine Igor Kononenko denied reports circulated the former people’s Deputy Serhiy Leshchenko information about their detention at the airport “Borispol” (Kiev) while trying to cross the border and reported that currently is in Istanbul (Turkey), and then intend to go to China.

“Landed in Istanbul and was surprised to learn that Sergei Leshchenko said that I am forbidden to leave Ukraine… by the Way, after Istanbul I plan to visit China. There at the invitation of the Chinese side to take part in the big tennis event, which I’ll tell you later,” wrote Kononenko on the social network Facebook on Friday.

As reported, on Thursday evening Leshchenko in his Telegram-the channel said that Kononenko arrived at the airport “Borispol” to fly over the territory of Ukraine, but due to the fact that his name is mentioned in criminal proceedings, he was detained to ascertain his status and as of 21:00 he was not given the permission to pass the border.
