MOSCOW, December 23. /TASS/. Kurgan oblast will release 2.6 billion rubles due to the restructuring of budgetary credits in the following year, the funds will be primarily spent on the social sector, announced on Saturday to journalists by the Governor of the region Alexey Kokorin on the sidelines of the Congress of the party “United Russia” which passes in Moscow.

“The region involved (in the program of restructuring of the budgetary credits – approx. TASS), we are ready to sign the agreement, the draft agreement has been prepared and I think that in the near future it will be signed. Next year we have the amount of 2.8 billion rubles (payment on loans – approx. TASS), we find ourselves under the restructuring, and we are very-very profitable,” – said Kokorin.

He noted that next year the region had to repay budget loans for 2 .8 billion roubles, and taking into account restructuring – all on 200 million roubles.

The Governor added that the funds will primarily be spent on social services. “The priority measures are wages, social benefits, utilities, and the co-financing of all projects implemented on the territory of Kurgan region, I mean government projects, including social projects,” – said the Governor.

From 1 January 2018 in Russia will be started the program of restructuring of accumulated budget loans to regions, which will allow the authorities in the next two years to release a total of 428 billion. The right to extend the restructuring until 12 years will get only those regions that show in 2018-2019 income growth above the rate of inflation.
