The replacement of the Ambassador of the Russian Federation Babich will not change the General vector relationship.

Commented on “echo of Moscow” oil war between Minsk and Moscow, the Russian economist Vladislav Inozemtsev.

“Now Belarus is forced in different ways or allow it to get used to living without Russian oil rents that she had collected over the past years.”

“It is not so much about the Belarusian oil as a whole about the relationship with Belarus, which become more tense. I think that a hasty resignation of Ambassador Babich and replace it with a less conflicted person is unlikely to greatly change the overall vector policy in this area. So, of course, Russia will continue to bear certain loss of image and financial”, – the economist believes.

Vyacheslav Inozemtsev sure that Russia will suffer losses caused by the supply to Belarus of dirty oil, which actually stopped now pumping in the direction of Western Europe.

“I think that, of course, the loss will be. I don’t know whether exposed to penalties from recipients of oil in Western Europe. But overall, I think these losses will be much smaller than what Russia was isolated informal subsidizing the Belarusian economy. Unless, of course, this practice will not stop,” – says Vladislav Inozemtsev.
