MOSCOW, March 16. /TASS/. Automakers will get in 2018 industrial subsidies worth more than 102 billion rubles, told TASS, the Minister of industry and trade Denis Manturov.

“This year, the unit of industrial subsidies will amount to more than 102 billion roubles. As for support of demand, as we have repeatedly stated in 2018, the program of fleet renewal will not be continued in connection with the implementation of key tasks,” – said Manturov.

Subsidies to targeted support programs in the automotive industry will amount to 13.5 billion rubles, said the Minister. “Running in the second half of 2017 targeted program support allowed to attract the market of buyers who previously could not afford to buy a car for young and large families, for example . Given the existing positive experience, these measures will be the key measures to support demand in the automotive industry in 2018 – they will be sent to more than 13.5 billion rubles,” – said Manturov.

According to him, plus 10.5 billion roubles will be allocated to the payment of interest on loans past years. He also recalled that this year extended the measure to support the demand for NGV equipment in the amount of 2.5 billion rubles, including equipment for liquefied natural gas.

The Minister added that the continued use of two mechanisms – interest rate subsidies on investment loans (provided funding for 2018 is 4,37 billion rubles) and support projects in priority directions of development of the automotive industry. “In 2017-2018 we have provided and plan to provide financial support to a total of 16 projects totaling more than 1 billion 300 million rubles. The number of projects may be extended: announced the selection of new technological areas,” he added.

As follows from the presentation of the Director of the Department of automotive and railway engineering Denis Pack, on the program “First car” and “Family car” in 2018, provided state support in the amount of 7.5 billion rubles for the program “Preferential lease”, including “the business” and “Russian tractor” – 6.1 billion rubles.

For the program “Incentives for the purchase of CNG vehicles” provided 2.5 billion rubles for the program “Incentives for the purchase of land-electric transport” – 1,5 billion rubles. For measures to stimulate production in the far East will be sent this year to 0.5 billion rubles for co-financing of investments of 4.4 billion roubles for the development and production of vehicles with remote and Autonomous control – 1.3 billion rubles.

Strategy of automotive industry

Manturov announced that Russian government agreed on a strategy of automotive industry development up to 2025. According to the Minister, the new strategy we are talking about the rejection of calculating the level of localization in percentage and the transition to the specific requirements for the implementation of technological operations in the manufacture of engines, gearboxes and electronic architecture of the vehicle.

Also, the producers tasked to bring a minimum level of R & d expenditure in Russia to 5% of revenues. “This will allow companies to expand their own aggregate and components. Also, the strategy laid the Foundation for the development of new competencies for the advanced vehicles such as electric vehicles, connected and Autonomous vehicles,” – said Manturov.

The Minister recalled the support of the automotive industry is conducted in several directions. In terms of unit support demand in 2018, the program renewal will not be continued in connection with the performance of key tasks.
