TASS, July 23. International aviation and space salon MAKS-2017 culminated in the signing of contracts and agreements with a total volume of 400 billion rubles. This was reported in the official statement of the Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation.

“MAX-2017 gave aircraft manufacturers a large backlog to work: signed contracts and agreements for the supply of Russian aircraft worth about 400 billion rubles. It is important that MAX turns into a business area, participation in which is not only a question of prestige, but also an effective tool for establishing partner relations. For three days negotiations were carried out by the MatchMaking system with the participation of mainly small and medium-sized companies”, – said the Minister of industry and trade of Russia Denis Manturov .

It is noted that the largest transactions have become a firm contract on delivery of 20 Sukhoi Superjet 100 “Aeroflot – Russian airlines” and the contract for delivery in operational leasing 16 MS-21 aircraft of the airline Red Wings, including four liner with Russian engines PD-14. The event was attended by about 180 foreign manufacturers from 35 countries, held more than 1,500 talks, which were attended by over 1 000 companies.

At the air show was presented a few novelties, among which were the MiG-35 generation 4++ and designed for special operations helicopter Mi-171SH-EXT.

The international salon MAKS-2017 was held in Zhukovsky, Moscow region from 18 to 23 July. During this time there were more than 452 thousand.
