MOSCOW, July 19. /TASS/. Clubs American hockey League (AHL) can release their players to the national teams for participation in the Olympic games 2018 in South Korea’s Pyeongchang. About this in his Twitter said the journalist of the portal Sportsnet’s Elliott Friedman.
In early April, the national hockey League (NHL) announced that it will suspend regular season in February of 2018 at the Olympic tournament. In late may, NHL Commissioner Gary Betmen said that none of the players in the League will not participate in the Games in 2018.

In clubs, the AHL serves a number of Russian hockey players, including Evgeny Svechnikov (“Grand rapids”), Vladislav Kamenev (Milwaukee), Valentin Zykov (“Charlotte”).
Olympic games 2018 will be held in South Korean Pyeongchang from 9 to 25 February.
