Between the President and Prime Minister of Moldova sparked the conflict.

The reason for the revocation of the Ambassador of Moldova in Russia Dmitry Braghis is the confrontation between the country’s President, Igor Dodon and Prime Minister Igor Philip who are Pro-Russian and Pro-European positions, respectively.

About it writes Kommersant with reference to sources in Chisinau.

So, a high-ranking source in the administration of the President of Moldova said that the recall of Ambassador to Russia was a response to the tough stance of Dodona against the appointment of diplomatic representatives in a number of countries candidates proposed by the Cabinet of Ministers. Among them were government-approved candidates for the positions of ambassadors to the United States, China, Austria, France, the UK and the permanent representative of Moldova to the UN.

“There were two conversations in recent days . Philip came to Dodona and firmly told the ambassadors. The Prime Minister had said that even if those proposed by the government, will receive agrements, Dodon will be against those who will not protect the interests of the country”, – said the source.

As reported Корреспондент.neton the eve of the Ambassador of Moldova to Russia Dmitry Braghis was recalled to Chisinau on 1 March by the decision of the Ministry of foreign Affairs. Under the law, the government decision must now be signed by the President.

Braghis held the post of Ambassador to Russia and Tajikistan from 27 November 2015.
