The Chairman of political Council of party “Oppositional platform For life” Viktor Medvedchuk announced a visit to Moscow to negotiate the release of Ukrainian prisoners, reports “Russian conversation”.

“The exact date is not yet know. I will meet with those who influence the decision of those questions, which go to Moscow”, – said the politician.

According to him, he intends to continue the discussion of the exchange of prisoners and returning prisoners in the Russian Federation of Ukrainian citizens.

In particular, the opposition leader said that he was aware of 70 prisoners, citizens of Ukraine residing on uncontrollable Kiev territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

The identity of these people managed to install thanks to the appeals of their relatives.

The politician urged not to have high hopes for a major prisoner exchange in the near future.

Earlier, Medvedchuk held a meeting in Minsk with the leaders of the DPR and LPR Denis Pushilin and Leonid Beekeeper, which resulted in the release of four Ukrainian prisoners. Republic of Donbass gave Kiev these people unilaterally, as a gesture of goodwill.
