During the meeting the head of the Federal tourism Agency Oleg Safonov said that the Agency expects the influx of tourists to the North Caucasus from China, India and some other countries. “The project that we are currently implementing is called the loyalty program “Russian hospitality”. In this loyalty program we have included the project China Friendly, India-Friendly, Halal Friendly,” said Safonov .

Medvedev has noticed that first of all you need to provide a comfortable environment and a high level of service for the Russian tourists who now travel to the regions of the North Caucasus.

Safonov promised that it will happen. According to him, serious work is ahead on the translation of tourist materials into foreign languages, as well as the introduction of modern practices of adaptation of tourist services and tourist environment to the needs of different groups of tourists.

The extension of the program for development of domestic and inbound tourism

Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev intends to extend the Federal target program on development of domestic and inbound tourism in the Russian Federation. It ends in 2018.

The Prime Minister asked the head of the Federal tourism Agency Oleg Safonov to prepare relevant proposals together with the neighboring departments.
