Shot down aircraft missiles of the Russian type, but it could also be produced in Ukraine, said Prime Minister of the country.

Malaysian authorities require evidence that Russia is responsible for the tragedy of flight MH17 of Malaysia Airlines in 2014, in the Donbass. This was stated by Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, reported the Malay Mail.

According to him, Malaysia has agreed with the investigation report in the Netherlands, but only to the point where it is specified that the plane was shot down by a missile fired by Russia.

“They accuse Russia, but where is the evidence? We know that the missile that shot down the plane – a Russian rocket, but it can also be produced in Ukraine”, – he said.

The Prime Minister stated that Malaysia should be involved in the study of the black box because the plane belongs to Malaysia, there were passengers of this country.

“We don’t know why we were excluded from the study, but from the beginning we see there is too much politics,” says Mohamad.

Earlier in Russia said that the Dutch authorities seek to cover up information and bring the “under attack” Kiev than to publish the official correspondence on the collapse of the Malaysian Boeing in the Donbass.

We will remind, on July 17, 2014 the plane Boeing 777 airlines Malaysia Airlines, flying from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur crashed in the Donetsk region. All 298 people on Board were killed.

In may 2018, the joint investigation group summed up the first results of the investigation of the incident. According to the findings of investigators that the Boeing was shot down by Russian anti-aircraft system Buk, which was taken on the South-East of Ukraine with the 53rd anti-aircraft missile brigade near Kursk. The defense Ministry denied this information.
