Witold Banka will take office January 1, 2020.

Minister of sport and tourism of Poland Witold Bath approved on a post of the President of the world anti-doping Agency (WADA). This is the official Twitter account of the organization.

During the world anti-doping conference in the Polish Katowice for the Bathhouse unanimously voted by the Council of founders WADA. Earlier the candidacy of the Bathhouse supported the Council of Europe.

35-year-old official will officially take office on 1 January 2020. At the head of the Agency he will replace Briton Craig reedy, who headed the organization for six years.

The future President WADA is a former track and field athlete who specialized in the women’s 400 m. relay 4×400 m he won gold at the youth European Championships and the Universiade 2005-2007. At the 2007 world Championships in Osaka Bathhouse won a bronze medal in the relay.

The Foundation Board has officially elected @WitoldBanka and Yang Yang as the new WADA President and Vice-President.
