The Ministry of the digital transformation of Ukraine plans to allocate EUR 25 million of international technical assistance in support of projects of digital transformation on the app and the portal Diya, as well as on the development of broadband and mobile Internet access in the regions, wrote in his Telegram-channel Deputy Prime Minister digital transformation Mikhail Fedorov.

“Signed an important agreement for Ukraine with the EU. Minsitry receives EUR25 million of international technical assistance in support of projects of digital transformation,” he said.

According to Fyodorov, the money will be spent on the app Diya and implementation of the portal, Diya, optimization of administrative services and digitization, improving registries and the provision of quality and secure communication between them; the development of broadband and mobile online to the quality of the connection was in every Ukrainian village, regardless of its size and distance; and on the introduction of advanced technologies of electronic identification.

“We’re doing world-class projects, and international cooperation will enable us to maintain the momentum and not to reduce”, – said Deputy Prime Minister.

He also recalled that the implementation of the application Diya of Minsitry not spent “a single penny from the state budget”.

“I’m not proud of and I hope that soon we will be able as a state to invest in the direction of the future. Today the funding “DII” has assumed international donor organizations, to support Ukraine. Most of the projects concentrated on the fight against corruption,” he said.

As reported, Ukraine and the EU signed an agreement for EUR 25 million of assistance in the field of digitization.
