The Ministry said that for a long time, the water utility provided water consumers ORLO, without receiving any compensation .
The Ministry for the temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons with the participation of representatives of international humanitarian organizations discussed the problems of work of KP “popasnaja district Vodokanal”.
This was reported on the website of the Ministry.
“The main goal of the company is satisfaction of needs of population, industrial and other consumer groups for services in centralized water supply and drainage. It is about 50 thousand people in the Ukrainian government-controlled territory and about 400 thousand people on the territory of certain districts of Luhansk region (ORLO)”, – stated in the message.
The Ministry said that for a long time, the water utility provided water consumers ORLO, without receiving any compensation.
“During this time the company has accumulated a debt for the consumed resources, including electricity. According to the manual, the amount of debt for electricity amounts to 145 million, therefore, the supply of drinking water in uncontrolled territory not possible at this stage”, – stated in the message.
