At least 52 people were killed during a riot in a prison in the Brazilian state of pará in the North of the country, reports the Associated Press.
During the riot, the prisoners took hostage two of the prison staff, but to date they were released.
It is noted that all the dead prisoners. About 20 people were beheaded. The rest died in the fire, which made prisoners.
According to the Agency, the incident lasted about five hours. The reason of mass fight was a conflict between two prison gangs.
