MOSCOW, June 4. /TASS/. Thousands of fans of the Italian football club “Juventus” has suffered in the crush while watching the final match of the Champions League in the fan zone in Turin. On it informs Agency France-Presse with reference to police data.
On Saturday Juventus in the Champions League final, which was held in Cardiff, lost to real Madrid with the score 1:4.

In Piazza San Carlo in Turin to watch the game there were about 20 thousands of Juventus fans. After the third goal of real Madrid in the crowd started to panic, people began to flee from the area and in the resulting stampede injured more than a thousand people. As reported by portal Football Italia, at least five people are in critical condition, including four children.
Still not sure what triggered the stampede. According to one, unknown in the crowd detonated a firecracker and sowed panic . Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri reported that at one end of the square at the entrance to the subway – down metal gate, the thunder of the shot echoed throughout the area, and caused a stir in the crowd and the subsequent stampede.
“We heard shouting and suddenly thousands of people began to push each other to reach the exit, – told one of the witnesses. We were all crushed in the crowd, two children lost contact with their parents and relatives. It wasn’t a bomb, but it seemed that it was she, because there was chaos.”
Real Madrid became the first club to two consecutive wins in the Champions League, which in 1992 replaced the European Champions Cup. Juventus in seventh time lost in the final of the main competition, which is a record in the tournament.
