Specialist will work with the Ukrainian team in the summer.

The strongest Ukrainian handball club Motor has finally found a new coach, officially announcing the appointment of 49-year-old Gintaras Savukynas. A contract with the Lithuanian specialist is designed for two years and will take effect from 1 July 2020.

At the moment Savukinas is headed by Finnish Regimen Cox, who is a regular participant in the Champions League.

In November the Motor was fired from his post as head coach Nikolay Stepanets, and since then the team plays under the leadership of acting head coach Rostislav Lenevich.

Note that in this season the Engine has lost chances of an exit in the playoffs of the Champions League and the Ukrainian League rivals.
