A court in Russia has sentenced Zaur Dadaev to 20 years of imprisonment in colony of strict regime for the murder of opposition politician Boris Nemtsov.
A court in Russia has sentenced Zaur Dadaev to 20 years imprisonment for the murder of opposition politician Boris Nemtsov. It is reported “Echo of Moscow”.
According to TASS, the Dada will serve his sentence in a strict regime colony. Earlier, the prosecution asked for Dadaeva life sentence for another defendant Anzor Gubashev – 23 years of imprisonment in a strict regime colony. His brother Shadid Gubareva, the Prosecutor’s office asked to sentence to 21 years imprisonment. To the boy Eskerhanova the prosecution asked to appoint punishment in the form of 19 years of a colony of strict regime, another defendant in the case Khamzat Bachevo – 17 years of strict regime.
In addition, the prosecution asked the court to deprive Dadaeva military rank and the order of courage. In late June, the jury found all defendants in the case about the murder of Nemtsov guilty and not deserving indulgence.
The verdict stated that Dadaev kill policy, co-ordinate with their associates. According to investigators, the organizer of the murder Nemtsov Ruslan was muhudinov, who served in the battalion of interior Ministry troops “the North” and was a driver for battalion chief Ruslan Eremeev. Muhudinov is in the international wanted list.
Most Eremeeva, who was a relative of state Duma Deputy from Chechnya Adam Delimkhanov, was several times summoned to court, but it there wasn’t. Eremeeva name frequently appears in the materials of the case about the murder of Nemtsov, but the precise procedural status had not.
As you know, Boris Nemtsov was killed on the night of February 27, 2015 on the Big Moskvoretsky bridge in Moscow. He was shot six times from a passing vehicle, from the received wounds he died on the spot.
