KALININGRAD, August 1. /TASS/. The organizing Committee “Russia-2018” is ready to consider the wishes of the Moscow state University (MSU) on the location of the official fan zones during the world Cup 2018. About it journalists were reported by Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the organizing Committee Vitaly Mutko.

Fan zone world Cup in Moscow will be located in front of the main building of Moscow state University and is designed for 42,5 thousand spectators.

“Of course, there are topics for discussion. We met with the rector, with the students. We’ll see how it is possible to adjust, yet no decisions have been made. The decision, which will be the fan zone, and on the draft of the fan zone you can see”, – said Mutko .

“There are requests from the MSU, how to place the fan zone, to do not create problems – continued Mutko. – I do not see any obstacles to these requests, MSU not to do. I reviewed the project and given appropriate instructions. The fan zone will be on the Sparrow hills, which do not belong to MSU.”

“The city has the right to choose the place, but talking about how and what to place at what distance from the building. We’ll see with the city authorities, find a solution,” Mutko said in conclusion.

The matches of the 2018 world Cup will be held from 14 June to 15 July at 12 stadiums in 11 cities of Russia. Moscow will be represented by two stadiums, Luzhniki and Spartak.
