SPLIT /Croatia/, 3 APR. /Spec. Q. TASS albert Starodubtsev/. Russian weightlifter Natalia Khlestkina won the gold medal in the weight category up to 58 kg at the European Championships in weightlifting, which takes place in the Croatian split.

The sum of the two exercises – snatch and clean and jerk – she has lifted 214 kg (95+119).

Second place went to the representative of Latvia Rebecca Koch (213), the third Romanian madalin the Moth (208). Another Russian, Anastasia Ivanova, became the 12th (191).

At last year’s European championship Khlestkina won gold in weight category to 63 kg.

The tournament will conclude on 8 April .
