MOSCOW, March 4. /TASS/. Norwegian Marit bjoergen won the race with the mass start 30 km freestyle at the world Championships in ski sports, which takes place in the Finnish Lahti. The athlete showed the result of 1 hour 8 minutes, 36.8 seconds.
Second place went to her compatriot Heidi Weng (delay 1.9 seconds), finished third, another Norwegian Astrid Jacobsen (+1,9). Russian woman Julia Chekaleva was 10th (+1.20,9), Elena Soboleva – 20-th (+2.40,2), Alice zhambalova – 23rd (+2.43,7), Anna Medvedeva – 31st (+4.26,4).
For bjoergen’s gold was fourth in the current world championship and 18th career, she previously on this indicator surpassed the famous Soviet and Russian skier Elena Vyalbe, which has 14 of the top awards at the world Championships.
The world championship will end on 5 March.
