Odessa seaport in January-July 2017 passed 13,783 million tons of cargo, which is 1.3% more than in January-July of 2016.

According to Administration of seaports of Ukraine, during seven months, the port reduced the transshipment of export cargo by 4.2% to 10,066 million tons, import increased by 20% to 2,288 million tons, transit – by 19.2%, to 1,369 million tonnes, cabotage has exceeded 60 thousand tons .

Handling of liquid cargo increased by 13.3% to 1,327 million tons, packaged piece – shrank by 6.6%, to 7 million tons, dry cargo – increased by 10.3% to 5,446 million tons.

As reported, the port of Odessa in the first half of 2017 has passed 12,31 million tons of cargo, which is 5.6% more than in January-June of 2016, including the port decreased transshipment of export cargo by 0.5 percent to 9,129 million tons, import increased by 20% to 1,926 million tons, transit – by 43.3%, to 1,227 million tonnes, cabotage has exceeded 28 thousand tons.

Odessa port is located in the South-Western part of Odessa Bay on the artificially created territory of 109,5 hectares area

In the port are served by vessels up to 270 m and draught up to 13 m. the Total length of berthing line is more than 8 km.
